"I Need Some Literature" (From £1000 for a small leaflet)
We write copy, we design and we organise the printing. Pricing this one is a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string?' problem. It depends on what information you have to convey, size, number of colours, quality of paper, number of photographs or illustrations. This in turn depends upon how you decide to convey your organisation's values to you customers. (We recommend that you represent your values in all your contact with the outside world; it's why Penhaligons give you a shiny carrier bag with lovely cord handles (exclusive) and Superdrug give you a plastic one designed to last from the shop to the car-park (cheap). Your customers know what to expect.) If you don't know what your organisation's values are see All The Other Stuff.
You can expect to pay around £1000 for a basic, small leaflet in colour, including writing and layout , assuming that you know exactly what you want and can give us a clear brief. Print costs drop per item depending on how many how have done, but there is not point filling your office with leaflets you are bever going to use just to get the price down from 10p each to 5p each.
It is wise to allow £1-10,000 for literature. We can discuss options, give you quotes and help you to decide what you need before you commit to the elements which are expensive to change: copywriting, design and photography. The rule is that the more you change closer to the end of the process, the more expensive it is. We like to work with our clients to make the decisions at the start, then keep costs down by changing as little as possible once the project is approved.
If you need a logo designing, photographs taking and you change the copy several times, you will have to budget for those costs.
If you are interested in a long term contract for literature we'd like to talk to you about that too.
We also write Web copy, design and organise website production on the same basis.
